Shake Down the ThoNDer
This is your chance to be a part of something special in both Notre Dame history and in the South Bend community. On Saturday, April 9, 2016, the second annual Notre Dame Dance-A-Thon will take place on campus in the JACC from 3 pm until midnight. That's right! The event lasts nine hours so that both students and members of the community can participate in this wonderful event! Modeled after the famous Penn State "Thon," the Notre Dame Dance-A-Thon will include performances by student organizations, inflatables, guest appearances, and more food than you could imagine! The ND Dance-A-Thon will be open to everyone, from students to faculty to anyone who wants to support the cause. You may stay for all nine hours or come for just an hour or so. Either way, the ND Dance-A-Thon will be a fun and memorable experience, as well as one that has a significant impact on the community. To support the cause, feel free to join the event on FaceBook ! So, what is the point of the Notre Dame Dance-A-Thon? From now until midnight on April 9th, donations will be collected in support of Memorial Children's Hospital of South Bend. Please help us reach our preliminary goal of $10,000! To learn more about the cause, visit the "Why We Dance" page. |
